In worldly life, humans seek comfort and happiness, but this comfort is short-lived. Just as one resolves to enjoy peaceful sleep or a weekend getaway, responsibilities resurface, demanding attention anew.

In contrast, in paradise, comfort and happiness are eternal and never-ending, free from any disturbances. Allah Almighty says in the Quran:

“But those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) and do deeds of righteousness, we shall admit them to the gardens under which rivers flow (i.e. in Paradise) to dwell therein forever. Allah’s promise is the truth, and whose words can be truer than those of Allah? (Of course, none).” (Quran Translation, Surat An-Nisaa’, 122)

Upon entering the Hereafter’s paradise, there is no death or loss, as experienced in worldly life. Allah, the Exalted, states:

“They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing fire.” (Quran, Surat Adh-Dhukan, 56)

This everlasting bliss encompasses not only physical comfort but also psychological and spiritual tranquillity. In paradise, there is no sadness, fear, illness, or fatigue. Its inhabitants live in eternal happiness and peace that never ends.
